For the past few months I haven't been working in my studio as much as I would have liked - We have had a summer of visitors to our house (which is always nice!) but one of the disadvantages of working from home is that work can be put to one side far to easily :)
I now have a couple of weeks without guests so plan to work work work....although the garden needs a hard prune before the frosts arrive.....
The planned date for my gallery opening is May 2008 and it's going to be a sad and empty place unless I get a move on. So I took the decision last week not to list any new work in my Etsy store until Spring in order to concentrate on creating and not selling!!
The piece listed above is my "Kinda like a cushion" panel in wispy white with candy shades of blues and greens and a little caramel. It's embellished with grey satin ribbon. I'm going to have great fun with colour combinations for these pieces :)

Mud - I thought you'd have heard! - The old miellerie (honey farm shop) at our place will become my gallery - 28 metres sq with a 10 metre sq office/cutting room to the side. Lots of light, great views too. v. excited!!!! :)
