Snowdrops!

We've had a few days of mild sunny weather, so the snow has mostly melted from our garden. So I decided to go outside and tidy up some of the planting near the front of the house and warm myself in the sunshine too :)

And there they were - the first of our snowdrops! I know they'll probably get buried again under the next snow fall but it makes me think of spring and that makes me happy :)

I have been making little snowdrop ACEO's to keep me cheerful while I waiting for the real mccoy - I added this one to my Etsy shop this week. I plan to make a series of little bluebell ACEO's in the spring.

Last week my Water-Babies earrings got onto the Etsy frontpage - woohoo!. The treasury was a very pretty blue and copper selection chosen by Miscelena please check out her shop for one-of-a-kind card and papercrafts!

And one of my own treasuries got there too :)

Ga Ga for Garlands

I'm sooo excited!

This week I was featured on the very pretty and gorgeous Ga Ga for Garlands blog! Please check out the blog if you love handmade banners, garlands, wreaths and decorations! Filled with little tutorials and brimming with gorgeousness and, of course, a little article about MOI!!!

Next week an "Hello!" magazine exclusive ;)

Bits and Pieces

If you see cows lying down in a field then you know it is going to rain.
If you see squirrels gathering nuts early then you know it is going to be a long winter.
And so it goes, that if you see our neighbour leaving his car down at the bus stop then you know it is going to snow.

So why was I surprised? All plans to take the work rubble and bits and pieces from my gallery to the municipal recycling were scrapped (no pun intended) and getting to the post office before noon closing out of the question :(

Instead A. had to cut down a tree that had landed in the drive narrowly missing the cars and I had to dig out the drive....

The sky still full of snow on Saturday morning

"Quincy" the quince tree looking pretty

I thought my little car was squished!!

The day was brightened though when I logged on to Etsy and discovered my "Absinthe" earrings on the homepage - yay. Thank you to Star of the East for making such a fab treasury!!

Please take a few minutes to check out their fab jewellery, particularly their new sea urchin pieces! HERE!

Earlier this week, one of my own treasuries made it to the frontpage - this is almost as much fun as have one of your own items featured only without the added bonus of 'hearts' and hopefully sales :)

Our little hamlet on Sunday afternoon

The Bourgeois family sent me this pic of one of my little christmas stars on their tree - ooohhh christmas is so far away again :(
