and decorated the fireplace too :)

but as you can see I don't go OTT with the christmas decorating lol !  Mr Lawrence just had to get in the picture of course, although he was getting distracted by the birds on the apple tree outside :)

I love this room on winter nights, the woodburner and candles makes it cosy.

Oh Pam! I'm in love with your living room! That first photo could be from a magazine! Your understated Christmas is beautiful & elegant. We go all out, but I could happily enjoy your way as well.

In such a lovely room as yours, one could easily curl up with a good book and Mr. Lawrence next to a roaring fire and a little glass of port.

Sharon - that's usually what I do most winter nights - except it's usually a large red wine :)

Ira - the school bus comes right up into the hamlet .... France is cheaper that Switzerland too ;) .... and there's a pretty atelier just for you!!!

I could sure use all the space you have there...though it would become cluttered in a matter of seconds..

Pamela, tour home looks so cosy, i love the fireplace decoration. You really are snowed in, we have hardly any here, about the only part of Scotland that doesn't. I too am actually finished early with my present shopping, i could get used to this!

Oh, your home looks beautiful. I, too, don't go over the top with the decorations.....less is definitely more.
