Some pics from our visit to Chambord Castle a couple of weeks ago. The architecture is so ornate and fabulous that you really don't know what to photograph - it's just too much!! You can find lots of information about the chateau here
great pics Pam; brings back lots of lovely memories. We went on a bike tour (many many years ago) and saw Chambord. I remember I was pretty impressed by that staircase.
Same here! I visited the castle many years ago and was very impressed by the double spiral staircase. Designed by Da Vinci if I remember correctly. There is so much to see it is a bit overwhelming, but very, very beautiful. Thanks for the pictures!
