I love peonies, we have 5 shrubs in the garden, 2 in deep pink that flower a little earlier than this "Sarah Bernhardt" pale pink which is my favourite. These particular flowers are from an unseen, unloved area of the garden so I thought it best to cut what was left and enjoy them indoors even just for a day or two. I wish these bloomed all year :)
